The wide body, set on a low foot, with a standing winged Eros facing to the right, a standing draped female facing to the left, both holding objects likely to be mirrors, and a band of wave pattern on the neck. The lip of the vessel, rolled, sits above a pair of strap handles with palmettes and tendrils below.

Acquired from Galerie La Reine Margot, Paris, between 1969-1971; Collection of Dr. Manuel Gottlieb and Doris Gottlieb Brickner, New York, NY USA. Thence by descent to the current owner.

Restored from a few large fragments, with abrasions throughout, and small chips to the rim.
