Depicted standing fore-square, its tail and head facing downwards, with two small ears beneath long narrow horns, projecting forward and curving inward at their tips, the large eyes deeply recessed for now-missing inlays.

In Canaanite art, the bull is thought to represent the animal form of the god Baal, the most powerful deity in the pantheon.
