The mask, with broad accentuated eyebrows inlaid with bronze and limestone eyes with painted pupils, and the eyelines inlaid in bronze. The face is contoured by full cheeks and fleshy lips, topped by a yellow and green striped wig featuring a large winged scarab over the crown and a plaited false beard.

Seems to be consolidated and stabilised with glue visible on the back of the mask around the join of the stucco and the wood. Repainting to chin, lips, tip of nose, and a large area over both eyes and brows, with brows and eyelines possibly replaced. Eyes in alabaster possibly repainted or replaced. Repainted area at front of wig affecting the front legs and front of face of scarab. Stable cracks to the surface overall. Minor areas of pitting and rubbing to the painted surface overall particularly to red of face and tip of beard curl. Back with two modern hooks for suspension.
