The mammiform bowl tapering to a stemmed foot provides a classic balance. The exterior with bands of foliate scrolls, dotted circles, vertical zigzags and concentric lines, while the interior is a striking simplistic black tondo and three concentric bands, twin pierced lug handles.

Some areas of repainting of the bands on the interior of the bowl otherwise intact with no repairs. Exterior with weathered surface in places where the weathering has flaked away the painted decoration, as visible in the illustration. In some places the original pottery colour is visible. This weathered surface covers approximately 1/3 of the vessel. Nicks and pitting overall including a flaked chip to exterior of bowl and to underside of one handle.
