Carved in shallow sunken relief this long horizontal panel is crisply executed on a beautiful cream colored limestone. The fine modeling of the facial features, thin neck of the figure with an elongated head, and specific layout of the composition are all key indicators that our example is of late New Kingdom production. The scene depicts the bust of a man on the proper right in adoration before the royal epithets "Horus, Mighty Bull" and "Son of Ra," on the left. In the field above the figure and to the center, we find five columns of vertical hieroglyphic text.

Calcareous deposits and deep brown staining. Fragmented, with broken edges, chips, and wear visible, otherwise well-preserved.
