Depicting a young woman, probably Venus, with soft idealising features. Her wavy hair is centrally parted with a diadem around her head, and falls in a long tapering plait at the nape of her neck. Her earlobes are pierced. 

Private collection, Europe, probably acquired in the 19th century (based on the old base and the collection stamp, dated to 1887). Private New York City Collection, formed in the 70's. Private Beverly Hills Collection 2023.

Age related wear, the head with staining, dirt encrustation, flakes and small abrasions.
