Intact and in very fine condition. With light encrustations on the interior and small deposits around the neck and body. Brilliant, sparkling iridescence to the body, handle, neck, and rim. Despite the layers of patina this example retains a spectacular prismatic transparency.

The survival of this fragile glass seems nearly miraculous. Occasionally examples such as this, where the glass has reacted to burial, exhibit a shimmering iridescence that has long captivated the imagination of the most ardent collectors and artists.
